On October 3, 1962, astronaut Walter Schirra wore his personal Speedmaster during NASA’s Mercury Sigma 7 mission, marking the first time an OMEGA watch was worn in space. This modern reinterpretation pays homage to that historic timepiece, embodying the design of the second-generation Speedmaster in a contemporary update.

The 39.70 mm case is made from stainless steel, featuring a polished finish. It comes paired with a "flat link" bracelet equipped with OMEGA’s patented comfort release system for adjustable wear.

Powering the watch is the Co-Axial Master Chronometer with Japanese movement a modern evolution of the automatic movement once worn in space.
